Aphrodisias, near Karacasu, was famous in the ancient world for its sculpture workshops and has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2017. The Tetrapylon (monumental gateway), one of the best-preserved ancient stadiums and the Sebasteion reliefs are the highlights of the site.

It is about 1.5 hours from Pamukkale; the two can be combined on the same day.
